President & Managing Partner

Highly regarded throughout the financial services industry and frequently sought out for his expertise, Frank Paré began his career over 30 years ago at a financial services firm in San Francisco. After several years at a wealth management firm specializing in ultra-high-net-worth clients, Frank founded PF Wealth Management in 2006 to provide Values-Based Financial Planning™ to high-net-worth clients. Frank serves on the boards of several civic and non-profit organizations, including UC Berkeley’s Personal Financial Planning Board. Previously, he served on the CFP Board of Standards’ Public Policy Council, addressing the financial challenges faced by families.

As a result of his Public Policy Council work, the U.S. Treasury Department invited Frank to participate in a roundtable discussion on how the U.S. Treasury might provide financial planning services to low-income Americans. Frank served on the Financial Planning Association (FPA) board for six years and was elected national president and chair in 2018 and 2019. After serving on the national board, he was chair of the FPA Political Action Committee.

Frank is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional with the CFP Board of Standards, has a degree in International Relations and an MBA in Management. He holds a Certificate in Financial Planning from the University of California at Berkeley, where he taught courses on financial planning and taxes. Frank is also a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® and Chartered Special Needs Consultant®.
